Job Overview:
Invicta Gaming is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Remote Support Technician to join our team. We are rapidly expanding and looking to begin offering in-person troubleshooting and PC assistance in every state. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on, in-person technical support, including troubleshooting and hardware upgrades, at clients' homes. This is a contract position and requires a strong customer service orientation and technical acumen.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct on-site visits for technical troubleshooting of gaming systems, peripherals, and network devices.
Perform hardware upgrades for customers as needed, including installation of new components.
Assess customer needs and recommend hardware or software upgrades.
Assist in diagnosing physical hardware issues.
Maintain accurate records of service visits, customer issues, and resolutions.
Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions.
Work closely with the in-house technical team to resolve complex issues.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standards.
Qualifications:
Required:
Have employment elsewhere, preferably full-time as this is contract work only.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Strong customer service skills
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds
Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable means of transportation
Nice to Have:
Experience in computer technical troubleshooting
Knowledge in custom computer building
Experience in physical computer diagnosis
Work Schedule:
This is a contract position with variable hours, based on customer need. Ideally M-F schedule with a 1 day lead-time on dispatching to a call.
Compensation (USD):
In-person calls: $35/hour
Remote support from home: $25/hour
Custom computer builds: $250-$400 per build
